8 SHOT ENDS

Pennant Season sees both teams of four players using two bowls per team member to play their games.

During each end of the game, both teams are trying to get as many of their bowls closer to the 'Kitty/Jack' than their opponents closest bowl.

It is a very rare achievement that one team will actually get all eight of their bowls closer than their opponents closest bowl thus earning the covenanted 8-Shot end.
